According to John Storey 1995,
"Human Resource Management is a distinctive approach to employment management which seeks to competitive advantage through strategic deployment of highly commited and capable workforce using an integrated array of structural,cultural and personal techniques."
Human Resource Management encompasses the management of people in organizations from a macro perspectice i.e. managing people in the form of a collective relationship between management and employees.
